A SHINE OF BRIGHTNESS AND HAPPINESS
Stichting Indian Light Foundation (ILF) bestaat al ruim 20 jaar. Wij zijn uitgegroeid tot een stichting die een positieve en duurzame bijdrage levert aan minder draagkrachtige (alleenstaande) vrouwen en (wees)kinderen in India en Suriname. Stichting Indian Light Foundation heeft met vrijwilligers van lokale organisaties al verschillende kleinschalige projecten gerealiseerd die een positieve impact geven op korte én langere termijn. In India en Suriname delen we voedselpakketten uit, schooltassen en -benodigdheden voor kinderen en begeleiden we vrouwenprojecten. Voorgenomen plan is het realiseren van een multifunctioneel vrouwencentrum in Suriname. In Nederland promoten wij de Indiase cultuur door het organiseren van sociaal-maatschappelijke evenementen. Wij kunnen onze projecten uitvoeren dankzij de steun van onze donateurs en partners.

Missie: Stichting Indian Light Foundation streeft ernaar organisaties, bedrijven en mensen in Suriname, India en Nederland op een duurzame manier met elkaar te verbinden. In deze internationale samenwerking geven wij vrouwen die tussen wal en schip vallen steun in de rug. Die steun is tijdelijk, maar duurzaam van aard: we stellen vrouwen ermee in staat een zelfstandig leven op te bouwen binnen hun eigen gemeenschap. Daar waar het hard nodig is, biedt Indian Light Foundation ook noodhulp.
